Adult Independent Study (AIS)
The Adult Independent Study (AIS) provides students with flexibility to complete high school coursework at home. Weekly face-to-face meetings with the instructor are required. Subject matter assessments are required to demonstrate mastery and must be completed under the supervision of the instructor. Students who complete a class will earn 5 credits.
Prerequisites: 1) Students must achieve a score of 9.1 or higher on the TABE Reading Assessment prior to class registration; 2) $75 (cash only) Book Deposit is due at the time of registration. Deposit refundable upon return of materials in good condition.
Courses available: Economics, Life Skills, Psychology, Parent Education, U.S. History 1 and 2, U.S. Government, World History 1 and 2
